HVAC scenting
What is cold-air diffusion technology?
Fragrance oil is converted into a dry micro-mist and carried through your HVAC ducts, so the scent is distributed evenly throughout the space by the air you are already moving. Nothing is heated, and there is no residue on surfaces.
How often will it require maintenance?
The only maintenance is replacing the oil bottle when it is empty. Depending on your service plan, Zent handles that on site or you manage it yourself.
Will the oil damage my A/C unit?
No. The system causes no damage to the ventilation system.
How do you install it when the air conditioning unit is on the roof?
We assess this during the free site survey and recommend the best installation for your building.
Does it only work with cold air?
No. It works with cool, fan or heat settings.
Do I need to have my A/C running at all times?
The fan must be ON rather than AUTO so air keeps circulating continuously. It does not need to be cooling to distribute scent.
Getting started
How do we start?
With a free site survey. Our engineering team evaluates your space in person before anything is specified.
What are the five steps?
Initial consultation, facility survey, system design, scent development, then installation, monitoring and servicing — which includes on-site scent mapping, a dedicated Customer Care representative and ongoing monitoring.
What if our space has no central air?
Standalone diffusers are available for spaces without central air, and can also be used to treat a single room differently from the rest of a building.
Can we have our own scent, or do we choose from a library?
Either. We can develop a custom signature scent with renowned perfume designers, or you can select a scent from Zent's library.
Service
What service plans do you offer?
Three: Full Service, Value Service and Get & Scent. They differ in how much of the installation, scent supply and maintenance Zent handles for you.
How quickly do you respond to a support request?
Our service plans include a guaranteed 24-hour response time.
How do we reach support?
By email or through a dedicated hotline.
Is maintenance done on site or remotely?
Both are available. On-site and remote maintenance services are part of our service offering, and your plan determines which applies.
